William G. Gajda, Sr.

HAVERHILL - William G. Gajda, Sr., 80, of Haverhill, MA, died peacefully on July 4, 2023.

Bill was born on March 7, 1943, in Springfield, MA to Alfred, Sr. and Ruby (Mosher) Gajda. He was loved deeply and raised in a warm, supportive home. He carried that love and kindness throughout his life as a husband, father, friend, and especially, as a grandfather. He was happiest spending time with his loved ones, traveling to Florida with his wife to escape the cold Massachusetts winter, and going out to eat with his kids. The only thing Bill may have loved more than his family was dessert and anything sweet. His kindness, humor, and unconditional love and support will be missed greatly by those lucky enough to have known him.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Courage) Gajda, his son William (Billy) Gajda, Jr., his daughter and son in-law, Andrea and Jason Campbell, his stepdaughter and stepson in-law, Danielle and Damian Beaudoin, and his stepdaughter and stepdaughter in-law, Barbara Anne and Bethann Pellerin, as well as the lights of his life, his grandchildren, Ian Beaudoin, Ava Gajda, Robbie Piskaldo, Alissa Piskaldo, Alexis Piskaldo, Nate Gajda, Cameron Beaudoin, Austin Campbell, Nathan Beaudoin, and Ruby Mae Campbell. Bill also leaves behind his loving siblings, Alfred Gajda, Jr. and his wife, Miranda, Rosanna Nelson and her husband Steve, and Thomas Gajda and his wife Kathy.

Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
