William G. Finlay

HAVERHILL - William George Finlay passed away at home surrounded by friends and family on December 2, 2020, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

He was born on October 29, 1998, and was the youngest of two children, alongside his sister Sarah. He graduated from Haverhill High School in 2017, and studied Sleep Technology at Northern Essex Community College. Will was also very creatively talented. He studied art for a year at Northern Essex and showed interest in filmmaking and animation. Will was an extremely kind person who stood out in any room with his bright, positive personality and great sense of humor. He was incredibly selfless, always doing anything he could to cheer someone up or to keep his loved ones happy.

Surviving family members include his parents Frank Finlay and Amy (Robinson) Finlay of Haverhill; fiancée and partner of 4 years Emily Forisso of Haverhill; sister Sarah Finlay of Haverhill; grandfather Stanley Robinson of Reading; grandmother Margaret Finlay of Wiscasset, ME; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
