Obituary
HAVERHILL - William Buckley Keefe passed on January 2, 2023 in Haverhill, MA formerly of Malden. He was the loving husband of Joe Jones of Haverhill. Son of the late Edward and Irene (Buckley) Keefe, and brother of the late Robert Keefe of Malden and sister Paula Keefe Hollingsworth of ME and FL.
Bill is the godfather to Cameron Koizumi of Malden, Michael Keefe, Eric Keefe and Matthew Keefe of Wakefield.
He is survived by his nephews Brian and Michael Keefe of Wakefield, Craig Bowers of Reading and niece Kerrin Nicole Maldonis of Swampscott.
Bill was the dear, loving and devoted friend of Mary Jo (Kelley) Koizumi and her husband Jerry Koizumi of Malden.
He graduated from Malden High School in 1973 and Essex Agriculture School in 1975. He had a longtime career in banking form the late 1970’s including Baybank, Bank of America until his retirement in November of 2021 as a manager at Century Bank in Medford, MA.
Bill was blessed to have many friends from Malden, the 621 in Malden in addition to friends in Haverhill at Mr. Mike’s and the Roma. He will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, in Linwood Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Use the Mill Street Main Entrance. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to a charity of your choice.
