It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valentino Fiorellini, 90, a longtime resident of Haverhill, who passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. He was born in Ariano Irpino Italy on February 7, 1935, to his parents Guiseppe and Laura Fiorellini.
Valentino immigrated to the United States in 1954, in search of a better life and greater opportunities. He settled in Haverhill, Massachusetts, where he built a life rooted in hard work, values, family, and tradition. It was in Haverhill that he met and married the love of his life, Adriana Fiorellini, with whom he shared a devoted and loving marriage for 66 years. Valentino spent his working years in the local shoe industry rising to be in senior management.
He was known for his strong work ethic and providing opportunities to others. He was an avid golfer, bowler and bocce player. Above all else, his greatest pride and joy was his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Valentino took immense pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
Over the years he especially enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. In particular, the time spent at the beach house with Magliocchetti and Barbuti. The family also appreciates the support of the Magliocchetti families, McNeil, Papanikolaou, Sinacori, Solimino, Tufts, and Ward families.
Valentino is survived by his cherished wife Adriana Fiorellini (Barbuti); his son Joseph and his wife Noreen, and their children Nicholas, Ashlyn, and Brayden; his son James and his wife Kimberly, and their children Dean, Alyssa, Leslie and Lindsay and numerous relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Guiseppe and Laura and his brother Sante.
