HAVERHILL - Suzanne Tremblay Johnson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, with her dedicated family by her side.
Suzanne was born March 2, 1942, in Dover, New Hampshire, to the late Royal and Janet Tremblay. She passed away at Haverhill Crossings where she was surrounded and supported by amazing caregivers.
Proud graduate of Haverhill High School class of 1960, she maintained her meaningful friendships throughout her life. She enjoyed sharing the story of being selected homecoming queen, her lasting claim to fame. Suzanne spent her adult life in Haverhill, MA home to the family business- Mitchell & Company.
Suzanne’s favorite destinations were her summer home at Lake Winnipesaukee, where she spent years enjoying family time, long swims, and fabulous dock happy hours with gorgeous sunsets. She never tired of sharing stories of her love for Italy’s Amalfi coast and her long walks along the marginal way in Ogunquit, Maine.
She was so proud of her job as a legal assistant at Kazarosian Law Office where she was employed for more than 20 years. She loved her job, as well as her colleagues who became dear friends.
She leaves behind her three children, Donald Johnson of Bradford, MA; Elizabeth Ann (Peter) Milligan of Haverhill, MA; and Michael Johnson of North Andover, MA; two grandchildren who she adored, Connor Michael Milligan and Caroline Suzanne Milligan of East Boston, MA; two sisters, Jaynet (Alexander) Lampariello of Groveland, MA and Darlene Leegate of Ft Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews, great nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her former husband Donald A. Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Words of Remembrance will begin at 3:30 PM.
