Sandra Roach Obituary

GROVELAND - Sandra Ellen (Trull) Roach, born October 24, 1940, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2024. Formerly of Lynn, MA, Sandra had spent the past 17 years living in Bonita Springs, FL. She was the beloved wife of Richard M. Roach, Sr., was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Her legacy is carried on by her four children: Kathleen Rheault and her husband Steve of Haverhill, MA; Tracy Spaulding and her husband Dan of Groveland, MA; Roger Roach and his wife Sherry of Topsfield, MA; and Bonnie Tisdale and her husband Jim of Bristol, NH. Sandra is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will forever treasure her memory.

Sandra was predeceased by her son, Richard M. Roach Jr., her grandson Frank Roach, her sister Doreen (Trull) Micheletti, her brother Ralph Trull Jr., and her parents Ralph Trull Sr. and Hazel (Doane) Trull.

From a young age, Sandra showed a remarkable talent and passion for music. She loved playing the piano and singing, a joy she shared with her mother by her side. Her musical talents brightened many lives, especially during the holidays when her playing and singing made each celebration more special. Even in her later years, Sandra remained active in music as a member of the Belles of Harmony, a women's choral group in Bonita Springs, Florida, where she and her husband enjoyed a rich and fulfilling community life. Their time together was filled with activities such as bocce, softball, parades and festivals, and many nights of card games with close friends, creating lasting memories.

Sandra was known for her loving and generous spirit. She made sure everyone received a birthday card, never forgetting a special date and was always ready to feed anyone who visited, often joking, “You better eat that or I’m just going to throw it away.” She delighted in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she visited during the summer months escaping the hot Florida sun. Sandra’s presence made every gathering more special, and her family and friends will deeply miss her warmth and kindness.

Sandra’s life was a testament to love, joy, and musical talent. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Sandra’s memory. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
