Rosemary (Rose) Ragucci

HAVERHILL - Rosemary (Rose) Ragucci, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Rose was born to the late Angelo and Pasqualena (Lena) Toto on June 5, 1945 in Malden. In her early days, Rose spent a lot of time working in the candy industry. She later went on to work at Mal’s Market in the meat department. Years later, she enjoyed providing personal care to people in their homes. She would clean their homes, shop for them and take them to lunch. 

Rose always had a very generous nature and spoiled the people that she loved. She helped raise her three grandchildren, Hannah, Emma and Ryan and loved the holidays and enjoyed bringing her grandkids shopping for new outfits every single year. Although very few people knew this about Rose, she was an amazing artist who specialized in charcoal drawings of people. Her greatest joy was cooking and spending time with her family. Rose touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be deeply missed.

Rose is survived by her longtime partner Robert (Bob) Adams; daughter Doreen Bates and husband Rickie Bates of Haverhill; loving nanny to her grandchildren Hannah, Emma and Ryan Bates; sister to Donna Carey and husband Bill Carey of Concord, MA and Robert Toto of Kingston, NH; aunt to Sean Carey, Chris Carey and wife Julie, Matthew and wife Corey and Michael Carey; loving aunt to several great-nieces and nephews; also survived by Doreen’s father Philip (Bobo) Ragucci and his partner Marilyn Kriensky and her children Michelle and David Kriensky.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Private family interment will take place in Linwood Cemetery where Rose will be laid to rest. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
