Robert Reebenacker Obituary

METHUEN - Robert M. Reebenacker, 76, resident of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, Army veteran, and consummate professional.

Bob was the son of Maurice and Dorothea (Higgins) Reebenacker. He was born on March 2, 1944 in Winchester, MA. He attended elementary school in Derry, NH and high school at Pinkerton Academy, also in Derry, NH. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston State College (now UMass Boston) and his master’s degree from Harvard University. He was especially proud of his Harvard education and had many happy memories there. He loved to follow their football games.

Bob joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and served in Army Intelligence until his honorable discharge. He was employed in the sales department at Rohm Telecommunications, and as Director of Sales at both Fujitsu and Homisco/Voicenet. While at Homisco/Voicenet he traveled the world, often with his wife who worked at the same company for a time. He achieved a great degree of success in his work and was beloved by his colleagues.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Carol (Slocum) Reebenacker of Methuen, and his daughter, Alicia Reebenacker of Andover, sisters Marjorie Behen and Dorothy Hunt, both of Lynn, as well as many nieces and nephews.
