Rita (Raymond) Cavallaro

HAVERHILL - Rita (Raymond) Cavallaro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 17,2023 after a brief illness.

Rita was born on May 13,1951 to the late Marianna Bouse and Roger Raymond.  Rita graduated from Andover High School (Class of 1970) in Andover, MA

Rita worked for Western Electric, AT&T and finally Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA where after 25+ years, she took early retirement to care for her nephew and then grandsons until they were school aged.

Rita had a love for traveling and loved to explore new places.  She and Paul have taken countless cruises to the Caribbean, Europe, and Alaska.  Her more recent adventures took her to places like Italy, Greece, Turkey, Monaco, France, and Switzerland to name a few but her real love was visiting the “One Happy Island” of Aruba where she had been going for over 12 years. In the warmer months, it was not uncommon to find her at a car show with Paul and “Baby” – his 1956 Ford truck.

Aside from the traveling and car shows, Rita’s TRUE passion was her family!  She loved to spoil her grandkids and loved family pool days in the summer months. 

Predeceased by her brother Maurice Raymond, Rita will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 52 years, Paul Cavallaro, daughter and son-in-law Tracy and Garrett Hatch of Haverhill, MA, son and daughter-in-law Brian and Melissa Cavallaro of Danville, NH, “second daughter” Jennifer DiBurro and her husband Louie of Haverhill, MA, brother Richard Raymond and his wife Pauline, brother Henry Raymond and wife Patty, brother William Bouse and wife Claire, all of The Villages, FL,  brother Rene Raymond and wife Pam of Hampstead, NH, sister Diane Roe and husband Ron of Haverhill, MA, grandchildren Ryan and Matthew Hatch, and Asher Cavallaro, best friends “The Hens” and Christine Gagne, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
