Peter J. Doyle, Jr.

Peter J. Doyle Jr., aged 84, formerly of Everett and Malden, passed away on October 22nd, 2025, in Everett, MA. Born in Haverhill, he was the cherished husband of Merial (Lindkvist) Doyle, with whom he shared many loving years. He was the devoted father of Christina Doyle-Doucette and her husband Roger Doucette, and adored grandfather to Judy and Rosie. Peter also leaves behind his beloved dog, Dash.

Predeceased by his parents, Peter J. Doyle and Mary (Yachesyn) Doyle, and his siblings, Michael and Charles Doyle and Judy Connell, Peter is survived by his brother-in-law Joseph Connell, along with many nieces and nephews.

A proud veteran, Peter graduated from Everett Vocational in 1960 and enlisted in the Air Force the following day, serving his country for eight years. He was a lifetime member of the Eastside AA in Malden, the American Legion, the VFW, and served as the Post Commander of the DAV Post 85 in Malden. Peter worked in various capacities until retiring in 1995 due to medical reasons.

An ardent supporter of all Boston sports teams, Peter's enthusiasm was infectious, and he could often be found cheering from his granny launcher. He was also a friend of Bill W for 36 years, demonstrating a strong commitment to his community and fellow veterans.

In honor of Peter go and aggravate someone you love. Pick up a deck of cards and play some Gin, Cribbage or Poker.

Gentlemen, if you are planning on attending, please do not wear a tie as Peter would not want you to torture yourself.
