HAVERHILL - Paul Michael Christopher spread his wings and flew away October 4, 2023 following a brief illness. He was born in Haverhill, Mass November 23, 1961 to Nicholas and Thelma (Salmas) Christopher, the youngest of three sons. He went deaf at a young age due to spinal meningitis. He went on to attend Beverly School for the Deaf where he made many lifelong friends. He was a hard worker and took pride in his special painting techniques. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid New England sports fan. Despite his hearing loss he was a lover of rock music and would crank up the volume to feel the rhythm of the bass- even if he couldn’t hear it, everyone else could! He was always eager to tell you a new joke or repeat an old one just to make you blush.
He was predeceased by both parents, and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brothers: Anastes Christopher (wife Donna), Christos Christopher (wife Brenda ); his three children: son Paul Christopher, daughter Brittany Rand (husband Chris), and son Andrew Christopher; their mother Monica Christopher; grandson Elliott Christopher; nieces Jennifer and Shelley and nephew Daniel; and his girlfriend Sharon Morris Sacks. His presence will carry on in our hearts through many memories and retelling of jokes.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 12 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. His funeral will be held Friday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service in Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter Street, Haverhill at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
