Mildred (Fallon) Caliri

Mildred (Fallon) Caliri, 99, of Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, March 20, following a long illness.

Millie was born in Lowell in 1925, the daughter of the late George and Mae Fallon. She attended area schools, and graduated from Punchard High School in Andover in 1942.

She met her husband Vincent after the second World War, and they wed in 1946. Mildred enjoyed 71 years of marriage with him until his passing in 2017.

They had been active skiers and were members of the Lawrencians Ski Club. She and Vin also had an antiques and collectibles business and spent their latter years together in that endeavor.

Mildred leaves her two children, Susan Bernardin and husband Joseph of Haverhill and Gregory Caliri and wife Joan of Bradford; four grandchildren, Lindsay Wedell of Mountain Brook, AL, Jill Patruno and husband Jonas of Southampton, Andrew Hollinger and companion Justine Carleton of Haverhill, Ainsley Hollinger-Flynn of Methuen and Brooke Hollinger DePietro of Haverhill. “Gigi" will also be remembered fondly by her eight great-grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Mackenzie, Liam, Joey, Jackson, Olivia, and Miles; also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her three siblings, Gertrude Carr of Rye, NH, Miriam Clisbee of Groveland and George Fallon, Jr. of Missouri.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Words of Remembrance will begin at 1:00 PM. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
