Michael Cogliano

HAVERHILL - Michael Cogliano, 63, of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 10, 1959, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Carol Cogliano. Michael was the loving husband to Gail Cogliano. In addition to his wife, Gail, Michael is survived by daughters, Jill Byron, Joyce Kimani and Julie OMeara and her significant other Aidan Mc Carthy, all of Haverhill; grandchildren, Dylan Byron and wife Larissa Darcy, Kyra Kimani, Aylah OMeara, Caleb Dowling, Abby OMeara, and Ayden OMeara; niece Caley Cook and significant other Brian Richardson and their children Brian, Jr., Rosalie, and Brody. Michael was predeceased by his sister, Cathy Cook, and son in-law Gerry Kimani.

Michael graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1978 and worked at Axiom Technology in Methuen, MA.

Michael adored his grandchildren, music, his bowling league at Gametime Lanes in Amesbury, MA, the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and especially the Celtics. In the 1980’s, he coached basketball at the Boys Club and was a music DJ. He loved going to his family’s camp in New Hampshire and was a longtime member of the Elk’s Lodge in Haverhill where he was an Exalted Ruler for a time.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Service will be offered at 4:30 PM. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
