Maureen A. (Finnegan) Mulligan, 84, of Haverhill passed away on September 3, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

She was born in Lowell and raised in North Billerica, the oldest of five children of the late Miles and Anna (Sullivan) Finnegan.

Maureen was predeceased by her husband John J. Mulligan in 1969, small son Joseph, dear daughter Elizabeth and her brother, Martin T. Finnegan. She was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Merrimack College, The University of Massachusetts-Lowell and taught for many years in the Haverhill School System.

Maureen is survived by her son John J. Mulligan and his wife Anne-Marie of Haverhill and daughter Margaret (Meg) Miller and her husband Timothy of Haverhill. She was so happy to be the "Mammie" to her seven grandchildren John and Prescott Mulligan, Marissa, Miles, Martin, Matthias and Mary Beth Miller; and sister Margaret Finnegan-Topitzer and her brothers Miles J. Finnegan and Mark E. Finnegan; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, September 8, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Monday in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Gorham Street, Lowell at 11:00 AM.
