Maureen E. Krupa, 77, of Bradford, passed away peacefully the morning of October 13, 2025.
Maureen was the beloved wife of 52 years to John A. Krupa. Originally from Revere, MA, Maureen resided in Bradford, MA, for the past 45 years. She was one of seven children of Grace and Francis Shute, and a loving and supportive sister to Francis Jr., Richard, Mary, Deborah, William, and Eileen.
Maureen was the proud mother of Christine E. and Melinda D. Krupa. She also cherished her role as aunt, grand-aunt, and great-grand-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Revere High School, Maureen began her career in the insurance industry, holding increasingly responsible administrative positions at several companies, including Commercial Union and OneBeacon Insurance.
Upon the birth of her first daughter, Christine, Maureen stepped away from her professional life to embrace what she considered her most cherished role: that of wife, mother, and homemaker. She relished this time at home, and five years later, she and John welcomed their second daughter, Melinda, into the family.
When Melinda entered grammar school, Maureen returned to the workforce and joined United Parcel Service (UPS), where she held various administrative positions. Over her more than two decades with UPS, she was a respected colleague, coworker, and friend. Her final assignment was in the International Division.
In addition to hosting many family gatherings at their Bradford home, Maureen and John shared a love for live theatre. While musicals were part of their experience, they especially enjoyed dramatic performances in Boston, Providence, New York, and even one in London. Together, they built an impressive collection of Playbills.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
