Mary Sullivan Obituary

HAVERHILL - Mary Margaret (Mannix) Sullivan, 65, passed away on March 15, 2023 at High Pointe Hospice after a courageous battle from complications as a result of Alzheimer’s.

Born in Beverly and raised in Salem, MA, she graduated from Salem High School class of 1976. After graduation she worked at various jobs and eventually spent 30 years working at increasingly more important positions at Verizon, retiring in 2008. She met her future husband Richard in 1977, were married in 1984 and spent 39 years together.

Mary loved to travel. She took many long distance trips riding on her husband’s motorcycle. She particularly loved vacationing on the islands in the Caribbean. She also visited Las Vegas and the southwest many times. But when she was home, her two grandchildren Hadley and Tucker were the center of her world. She loved having them visit and babysitting whenever possible. They will truly miss their 'Gree Gree'.

Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by her daughter Raeann and her husband Steven Brouillette and two grandchildren Hadley and Tucker of Lowell; her sister Kathy and her husband Ken Crane of Laconia, NH; her brother Robert Mannix of Beverly; her niece Kimberly Martin and nephew Kenny Crane of NH; her brother in-law Michael and his wife Terry of Fremont NH; her nieces Jodi McAndrew and Lindsey Sullivan of Colorado; her niece Kelli Mercurio of Danvers. Mary was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Kathleen (Rowen) Mannix.
