SALEM, NH - Mark B. Thompson, Jr. died in his home on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
He is the cherished son of his parents Mark Thompson, Sr. and Annie Thompson and his best friend and brother David Thompson all of Bradford, MA.
Mark grew up in Bradford, MA and graduated from Haverhill High School. He then went on to study at Northern Essex Community College and The Peterson School in Woburn, MA. He worked as an Operating Engineer and was employed at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Mark was a passionate bodybuilder and was an expert at shaping his body to perfection with his regimented diet and dedication to the gym. But what meant the most to Mark was his family and being a father to his son. Nothing made him happier than watching his son grow. Mark was proud beyond words to see him reach any and every milestone and achievement. Mark never missed an opportunity to tell his son how much he loved him and he showered him with love and affection every single day of his life.
Mark will be forever missed by his wife Renée (Georgopolis), son Mark, III of Salem, NH and stepdaughter Autumn Kleiner of Methuen, MA. Along with endless friends and family members aunts uncles cousins brother and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Catholic Funeral Rites will be offered at 7:00 PM.
