SALISBURY - Mark F. Foley of Salisbury, MA, passed away peacefully at West Roxbury VA Hospital on Friday morning, August 9, after a long illness.
He was a graduate of Triton Regional HS in 1977 and went on to serve in the USAF in Japan and then stateside in the USMC for a total of 8 years from 1977 to 1985. Mark was passionate about American history and particularly loved the American railway system and went on many excursions throughout New England. But of all the things he did, Mark was most proud to be a US Veteran.
He is survived by his sister Janet Jacobs of Dublin, OH., two nephews, James Jacobs of Bowie, MD., Matthew Jacobs of Nashville, TN., and a niece, Jenna Jacobs of Hilliard, OH. He will be missed by his family and friends, particularly Milton of SC, Frank of NH and Pearl and staff at the Salisbury Inn.
