M. Carol Bellemore Obituary

M. Carol Bellemore (Gaudet), 84, passed away at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on August 25, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born on April 24, 1941 to the late Charley and Alma Gaudet. She graduated from Sacred Hearts in Lawrence, MA. She met her husband, Donald, while working as a mechanical assembler at Honeywell in Lawrence.  She also worked at many companies as a Freelancer. She wrote technical manuals at Saunders as well as Modican. She was a co-owner of Easy Rider, which was a fitness facility. She retired at the age of 63.

Carol surving family members include her loving husband of 54 years Donald Bellemore; daughters Denise Woodbury and husband Glen and Bonnie Wood and husband Michael Wood; adored three grandchildren Joshua Williams and wife Taylor and Spenser and Amber Wood.

Carol will be remembered most for her vibrant personality and her gift for making others laugh. She was truly the life of the party—whether playing games, singing off tune (with or without knowing the lyrics), or welcoming guests into her home. She was a talented cook, a gracious hostess, and known for her unforgettable 4th of July celebrations. She loved camping, playing cards, dancing, and, above all, spending time with family and friends. Carol had a heart of gold and made everyone feel welcomed and loved.
