METHUEN - Lisa Maria (Fiorentini) Miragliotta of Methuen, MA, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, just shy of her 68th birthday, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Lisa graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy and held the honor of being named Class Clown 1974 - a title she held dear to her heart. She double majored in Psychology and Business at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, graduating in 1978, and went on to receive an M.B.A from Babson College in Wellesley, MA, in 1980.
Lisa turned her passion for gourmet food into a profession and spent many years throughout her career working in the food service and hospitality industries. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, always searching for new recipes and creating elaborate meals for the ones she loved. She pursued an array of other professional interests; most recently, she earned her pharmacy technician license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Lisa is survived by her beloved daughter, Michaela (Mica) Miragliotta, of San Diego, CA; her brother Paul Fiorentini of Hampton, NH; her brother Richard Fiorentini and his wife Brenda of Hampton, NH; nephews Mark Fiorentini and wife Margaux of Haverhill, MA, David Fiorentini and partner Tara Keene of Pelham, NH, and Matthew Fiorentini of Baltimore, MD. She also leaves behind her aunt Teresa Petralia of Methuen, MA, in addition to many cousins, grandnephews and nieces, and several godchildren who were very special to her. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Constance Fiorentini of Methuen, MA, and her sister-in-law Linda Fiorentini of Methuen, MA.
We will remember Lisa for her generosity, perseverance, and quick wit. She had fabulous style and was an avid theater-goer. Lisa enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, most recently taking a road trip with her daughter to Charleston, SC, over the holidays. More than anything, Lisa loved being at the beach, collecting sea glass and spending time with friends.
Mica would like to recognize David Fiorentini and his partner Tara Keene, along with Lisa’s dear friend Linda Malynn, for all their love and support over the past year.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Celebration of Life will occur at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
