Katherine P. Doucette

TEWKSBURY - Katherine (Kathy) P. Doucette, 63, of Tewksbury, MA, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2022 at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington.

Katherine was born April 30, 1959 in Tewksbury to her parents Dorothy (Allen) Doucette and the late Melvin Doucette, Sr.

She attended Sacred Hearts School in Bradford and attended Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA. She worked at Agfa / Compugraphic and also worked in the greeting card store Greetings from Boston in Faneuil Hall.

Kathy loved to help others while volunteering her time making crafts with seniors that attended the Woburn Senior Center, where she made many friends. Handmade greeting cards, invitations and party favors were her specialty.  

Kathy is survived by Randall Wickson of Tewksbury her long-time partner of 45 years; her loving mother Dorothy Doucette of Groveland; caring siblings Melvin (Steve) Doucette, Jr. and wife Kathleen of Methuen, Sharron Carter and husband John of Deerfield, NH, Leanne Coppinger and husband Glenn of No. Andover, Christy Hubbard and husband Charles Hubbard, Jr. of Haverhill; aunt Millie Allen; cousin Sandra Tietjen and husband Wesley of Tewksbury; uncle James Allen and wife Marilyn of Florida and uncle Robert Allen and wife Liz of So. Carolina; many cousins and several nephews and a niece. She is predeceased by her father Melvin S. Doucette, Sr. of Groveland and her uncle John T. Allen of Tewksbury.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 25, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Friday morning in the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
