HAVERHILL - Josephine Comeau, 86, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on March 20, 2021.
Josie was born, raised and educated in Lawrence, daughter of the late Francesco and Anna (Rosemarino) Tridenti, who both were born in Italy.
Her happiness stemmed from the love she had for her six children. Nothing meant more to her than family. Her life became even more blessed with the addition of 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Josie was always the life of the party and made many lifelong friends wherever she went. It was not unusual for her to see someone she knew no matter how far she traveled. She was a great woman who will be sadly missed by so many.
Josie’s surviving family members include her cherished children Valarie Broulidakis and husband George of Manchester, NH, Allison Simon of Bradford, Darlene DiGaetano and fiancée Stephen Henry of North Andover, Stephen Van Coppenolle of Jupiter, FL, Frank Van Coppenolle and wife Bonnie of Salem, NH and Randy Van Coppenolle and wife RoseAnn of Watertown, NY; former husband Walter Van Coppenolle; brothers Paul, Anthony and John Tridenti; brother in-law John Vallante, sister in-law Irene Tridenti, sister in-law Maureen Tridenti and former daughter in-law Julie Van Coppenolle. Josie is predeceased by her siblings Robert, Frank and Pasquale Tridenti, Delia Deluca and Anna Vallante; former husband Donald Comeau; and longtime companion Frederick Dabrowski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be Wednesday, beginning in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 11:30 AM. Interment will be privately held in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
