Joseph Peter Cardillo

METHUEN - Joseph Peter Cardillo, age 69, of Methuen, MA, passed away, April 24, 2023.

He was the son of the late Joseph A. Cardillo and Katherine R. Cardillo. Joe is survived by Phyllis Cardillo and children Crista Cardillo and Joseph H. Cardillo and his fiancée Pema Lama. Survivors include his siblings; Carla Paparella and her husband Bruce; John C. Cardillo and his wife Barbara, and Jaime Cardillo and his wife Kim; and many nieces and nephews: Justin Baxter and his wife Alyson, Christian Baxter and his wife Laurie, Allison Baxter and Natalie Cardillo.

Joe grew up in Waltham, MA and was a graduate of Waltham High School, later attending Architectural School. For many years, he was employed as a car sales manager and later eventually retired. Joe lived most of his life in Waltham MA, eventually retiring to Vermont. Joe was a fun spirited soul who was the life of the party and made everyone laugh. He took on many passions, including gardening and cooking. He had an incredible artistic talent. Joe found comfort and peace in creating beautiful spaces and had an eye for design, both interior and outdoors. Joe loved renovating homes, riding his motorcycle, listening to music, playing golf and spending time with his beloved family, children and dogs - Ozzie, Rocco and Homer as well as his cat Sebastian. Joe was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile and laugh would light up the whole room and was infectious. Joe cared so deeply for the people around him, and made a lasting impact on many lives. He will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him.
