Jeanine Hickey

Jeanine M. Hickey, 68, of Bradford, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2025.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Lawrence F. and Lucia (Scatamacchia) Hickey.

She graduated from Northern Essex Community College and the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She graduated with specialized training from Harvard University.

Jeanine was a dedicated Nurse at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill in her early career and the Massachusetts Nurses Association in Canton until her retirement in June 2024.

She is survived by her aunt Marilyn Hickey of Haverhill; sister Maureen Filliger of Lowell; nephews Brenden Hickey and wife Michaela of Atkinson, NH and Ryan Filliger and wife Kaitlyn of North Andover; great-nieces Leighton and Ellie Hickey of Atkinson, NH and her great-nephews Kellan Hickey of Atkinson, NH and Liam Filliger of North Andover. She also leaves her long-time family friends Joann Duffy of Haverhill, Rose Werner and husband Jack of Dunnellon, FL, Jean Maher and husband Bill of Atkinson, NH; her Hale and MNA families and her cousins that brought so many fun memories in Wildwood, NJ and pool side/beachside in MA. Jeanine was predeceased by brother Michael Hickey and nephew Patrick Hickey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Words of Remembrance beginning at 12:00 PM.
