Helene C. (Malone) Dawson

LAWRENC - Helene C. (Malone) Dawson, 58, of Lawrence, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at her home in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

She leaves her children: Stephanie Dawson, of  Boston, MA, Kathy Dawson of Manchester, NH, Jennifer Dawson of Lowell, MA, Leslie Dawson of Lawrence, MA, Desiree Sylvester of Amesbury, MA, Amanda Sylvester of Lawrence, MA and Jillian Plasse of Webster, MA; her grandchildren Layla, Jadelynn, Rodolfo, Eric, Zaniah, Jaydalie, Micah, Gemma, Josiyah, and Bishop; her siblings, Michael Malone, of Billerica, and Donna Malone of Oxford; and four nieces and nephews. Helene was predeceased by her uncle, the late Peter C. Corbett, her parents, the late George V. Malone, and Geraldine T. (Corbett, Malone) Peterson, and her grandchild, the late Declan Plasse.

Helene was born in Woburn and worked various jobs in the service and transportation industry, including as a bus monitor for persons with disabilities for over 15 years in Lawrence.

Helene enjoyed watching her television shows, such as The Big Bang Theory, and Law and Order was one of her favorite crime shows. She also took joy in playing computer games with Bejeweled being her favorite, and going to play bingo with her friends.  Helene loved cats, especially her beloved Henry. Above all, her family meant everything to her; seeing her grandchildren brought her so much joy.
