HAVERHILL - Glenda Turner Pearson, age 82, of Haverhill passed away at home on August 12, 2023.
She was born April 4,1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, daughter of Ruby Turner Erwin of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She moved to Haverhill in 1959 and married the love of her life William Pearson, III on February 14,1969. Together they raised six children, Cynthia Marini, husband Michael, Susan Bouhda, husband Brik, Timothy Smith, wife Colleen, Brenda Damon, husband Ross, Ken Smith, Terry Pearson; grandchildren Mike, Billy Marini, Briki and Akim Bouhda, Derek, Danielle, Desiree, Debbie Smith, Scott, Tyler Martin, Lucas, Malik and Casey. Great Grandmother to 28 great-grandchildren; great-great grandma to Baily. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins in multiple states.
Gelnda graduated from Northern Essex Community College of LPN class of 1986. She retired from Penacook Place after a 25 years in nursing. Her most important job in life was being a mother, and her greatest job was being a grandmother. She was an avid crocheter from childhood to the end of her life. She was an Oklahoma University Sooners Softball Fan, she had a special interest in following one of her younger cousins, Jayda Coleman. Glenda loved life and enjoyed it with everyone that came into her life. Most of all she loved having fun with her family, and with the computer generation she loved following them on Facebook through photos and posts. She loved using the computer as long as it all went the right way, when things were not right she would have to call in the next computer level family member until one of them could make it right again. Glenda was Loving, kind and caring of everyone. She will without a doubt be greatly missed by all.
Her family would like to thank Core Physicians Family Practice, Tufts Medical Care at Home, all services and staff that provided care and support to Glenda and Family allowing her to honor her wish for end of life at home.
Services will be held graveside on Friday, September 22 in Greenwood Cemetery, East Broadway, Haverhill at 1:00 PM. Celebration of her Life will follow at her residence, where she resided with her niece Linda, granddaughter Danielle and great-grandchildren Natalya and Juelius. Flowers can be sent to Driscoll Funeral Home in Haverhill, Glenda’s place of residence in Haverhill, or brought to Greenwood Cemetery, Haverhill prior to service.
