Gladys Flores

HAVERHILL - With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Gladys Flores, a cherished mother, sister, and grandmother. Gladys, 61, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Holy Family Hospital. Born on October 22, 1962, in the South Bronx, NY, to the late Mildred Lopez and Juan R. Flores, she was the middle child of ten siblings. 

Forty-seven years ago, Gladys met her husband, Freddie Cordero, with whom she shared a beautiful life and three children: Freddie, Timothy, and Ashley. She devoted herself to raising her family, spending most of her life in the Bronx before moving to Haverhill to be closer to her growing family.

A dedicated grandmother, Gladys treasured her four grandchildren Nyasia, Armella, Anthony, and Elias whom she adored beyond measure.They were her pride and joy, and she went out of her way to make every holiday special, always preparing personalized goodie bags that showed just how much she cared. To her, they were her greatest treasures, and her love for them knew no bounds.

Gladys is survived by her loving husband, Freddie Cordero; her children, Freddie, Timothy, and Ashley; her precious grandchildren, Nyasia, Armella, Anthony, and Elias; her siblings, Sam Lopez, Juan Flores, Josie Class, Millie Flores, and Yvonne Mendes; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
