Gaile (Fantini) Mooradian

Gaile L. (Fantini) Mooradian, age 78, beloved wife of Jack Mooradian and mother of Michelle (Mooradian) Johnston, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 14 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH due to COPD.

She was born August 24, 1946 in Haverhill to Caroline and Ernest Fantini, as sister to Carole and graduated from Haverhill High School in 1964. She married the love of her life, Jack on May 29, 1966 and they moved to Plaistow, NH to raise their two daughters, Michelle and Cindi.

Alongside her husband, Gaile owned and operated several successful businesses in Georgetown and Haverhill, most notably Mooradian Motors, prior to joining Methuen Housing Authority in 1986, as Fiscal Manager, where she enjoyed working alongside her sister-in-law Judy and with many colleagues who she remained friends with until her death.  

She ultimately retired in 2009 to take on her most prized role of “grandmother” to her cherished grandson Carson, who affectionately referred to her as “Nana”.

Gaile adored time with family and friends and was the life of the party. She was a great cook, known for her apple pie, and she was a talented and gracious hostess over the years as evidenced by those who attended her many parties, holiday events and “Patriots Playoff Parties”. Gaile enjoyed traveling and had a love for the beach, spending many weekends at her home in Salisbury.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Jack Mooradian of Haverhill; daughter Michelle Johnston and her husband Barry, of Plaistow, NH; grandson, Carson Johnston, also of Plaistow, NH, as well as a sister, Carole (Burke) Fantini of Atkinson, NH. She was predeceased by her daughter Cindi, who passed in 1986.
