Donna (Coddaire) Woodard

HAVERHILL – Donna (Nona) M. Woodard, 64, a longtime resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in her youngest daughters loving care. She was born on May 1, 1956, daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Coddaire.

Donna attended Haverhill High School and quickly after began to travel the U.S. with her family living in places like Kentucky, Alaska and Florida and returning to New England in 1985.  Donna had a range of careers throughout her life from the Head of Sterilization unit in various hospitals, long-time Seamstress for Neptune’s Uniform & Equipment of Haverhill, MA; starting her own painting and wallpapering business and finally a handicap school bus driver, where she adored all of her passengers she drove to school every day. 

Known as “Nona” to all of her loving grandchildren who she cherished more than anything in the world and loved spoiling them all any chance she could get. What happened at Nona’s stayed at Nona’s, especially all the chocolate they ate!

She loved visiting Plum Island and soaking up the sun and especially loved visiting all of the Coast of Maine lighthouses when she could.  Her favorite artist was the classic Thomas Kinkade and those who knew her well, knew how much she loved her music from Nine Inch Nails, Tool and Rage Against the Machine.

Donna’s surviving family members include her children Jennifer Scott and partner Shawn Clancy, Jessica Keys and Yvette Abu Ghoush; grandchildren Seth William, Jenna Mae, Ariana, Yacoub, Julisa, Lily, Jara, Samantha, Billy and Debbie; great-grandchild Jayden; siblings Sandra (Dee Dee) and husband Raymond Ellis, Timothy Coddaire, Tracy Coddaire, her predeceased infant sister Theresa Margaret Coddaire and beloved grandmother Margaret Helen Coddaire; nieces and nephews Ami Oulette, Daniel Dunn, Michael Dunn, great-nephew Bodhi.
