Donna Marie Timney

NEWBURYPORT - Donna Marie Timney, age 65, of Newburyport, passed away on March 3rd, 2025. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter to the late John J. Timney and Marie Provence.

A self-proclaimed graduate of the “University of Autodidacts,” Donna had a fierce appreciation of the written word, her musings published in a collaborative work entitled “Transatlantic Crossings” a testament to how deeply she felt love for friends, family, humanity, and the universe. She was an advocate of peace throughout her life, utilizing her distinct voice in the hopes of building a better future.

Donna is survived by her six children: Kristian, Kasandra, Kaitlynn (Nicholas), Robert, Katharine, Alan; grandchildren Christopher and Cain, nephew James, nieces Jordan and Madison, as well as her mother and two sisters Jenna and Kathi. 

In her free time, Donna loved photography, capturing local landscapes, candid smiles, intimate moments, and wildlife. The worlds captured through her lens’ were wondrous. She will be deeply missed.
