Donna J. (Kittredge) Mears

HAVERHILL - It is with a heavy heart that the family of Donna J. Mears announces her passing at home surrounded by family and friends.

Born to Clarence and Beatrice Kittredge, she was an avid educator for the Haverhill Public Schools for forty years. Teaching was her passion. Donna loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was the best mother and grandmother.

Donna will be deeply missed by her two children, Erica Cronin and husband, Robert Cronin son Robert Mears and fiancé, Sarra Mills, sister, Debra Huberdeau and her husband Richard, sister in-law, Andrea Kittredge, grandsons, Bec Cronin and Zackary Strong, best friend, Debra MacDonald, Elizabeth Allshouse and former husband, Robert Mears. Donna will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donna is predeceased by her father, Clarence Kittredge, her mother, Beatrice Kittredge and her brother, Barry Kittredge.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will begin Wednesday in the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donna’s name can be made to the Haverhill Public Schools as a scholarship to be given yearly to a graduate of Haverhill High School who wishes to pursue a career in teaching.
