Dennis ‘Denny’ LaRoche, of Plaistow, NH, passed away peacefully at High Pointe Hospice.
Native of Ward Hill section of Haverhill, Denny grew up in a house of eight siblings, which explains his lifelong love of laughter, chaos, and a good story. He was the beloved son of the late Claire and Roger LaRoche.
Denny knew how to live. He loved golfing, time at the family camp in Point Sebago, Maine, and never once turned down a cocktail or a good time. Family vacations were his specialty—ski trips, white water rafting, Disney adventures, and countless memories filled with laughs (and happy hours).
For 36 years, Denny shared life with his wife Lynne LaRoche, his partner in fun, mischief, and adventure. If there was a happy hour to be found, they were there—together, always up to something.
He was the proud dad of Max and Devin, and truly the best dad ever. Denny was Devin’s best friend right up to the end and an incredibly proud “pop-pop” to Tripp and Denver, whom he loved deeply—especially when he could instigate them just a little.
Denny was predeceased by his brother Gman LaRoche, and we know without a doubt Gman saved him a seat at the bar.
He is survived by his wife Lynne; daughter Devin LaRoche and son in-law Eddie DiCarlo, and grandchildren Tripp and Denver; son Max LaRoche and girlfriend Eliza Smith; his best friend and brother Mick LaRoche and wife Sharon, niece Paige and nephew Ryan LaRoche and Ryan’s wife Elizabeth; Pamela LaRoche, niece Hannah LaRoche and her husband Andrew; brother Roger LaRoche and wife Jackie, niece Andrea and nephew Craig; sister Michelle Johnson and husband Dave, niece Emma and nephew David; sister Annette, niece Leann and nephew Ian; sister Linda Small and husband John, nephew Nick; and brother Freddy LaRoche and wife Michelle, Amber Cedar and her children, Mikayla and Hayden.
We hope everyone carries a little Denny with them—never turn down a good time, raise a glass often, and live life fully. He will be missed by many. No last call.
