Dennis Pelosi

HAVERHILL - Dennis Pelosi, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on April 26, 2023, at the age of 70 in Haverhill, the city that he loved and called home for most of his life.

Dennis was born on January 29, 1953, in Haverhill to his parents, the late Armand and Paula (Armbruster) Pelosi. After graduating from Haverhill High School in 1971, Dennis pursued his passion for science while studying at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where he graduated in 1976. He worked in the science field for many years and was known for his hard work and dedication to his profession. Later in life, Dennis transitioned to teaching, where he shared his love for math with his students. He was a beloved teacher and mentor to many, known for his contagious sense of humor and ability to make even the driest subjects interesting.

Dennis was a devoted husband for 43 years to his wife, Jean (Collins), and a proud father to his two sons, Michael and David. He loved spending time with his family, especially on camping trips, fishing trips, and skiing adventures. He had a deep love for the outdoors and was happiest when he was surrounded by nature. Dennis also enjoyed being a member of the Timberlane Community Band and a local bowling league for many years.

Dennis had a deep love for Haverhill and was proud of his city's history and charm. He made life-long friends throughout the city and always had a kind word for everyone he met. Dennis will be remembered for his infectious smile, positive attitude, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, humor, and dedication to his passions.

In addition to his wife, Jean, and sons, David and Michael, all of Haverhill, Dennis is survived by his in-laws, Kathleen and Patrick Sullivan of Haverhill and Daniel Collins, of Boone, NC, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dennis was predeceased by in-laws John and Nancy Crisostamo. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
