HAVERHILL - Debra A. (Crossman) Wersoski, 68, of Haverhill, MA succumbed to her battle with Cancer on September, 20th at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her loved ones.
Debi graduated from Haverhill High School in 1974. She worked at the City of Haverhill for many years, for the Haverhill Saving Lives Program. During those years, Debi worked with so many young families in the community. She helped get car seats and bike helmets for their children and showed them the correct way to install the car seats. As well as showing the proper safety fitting for their bike helmets. She ended her working career at Whittier Vocational Technical High School as an Administrative Assistant. Where she made many friends and loved her days working there.
After suffering many medical conditions, she retired in 2016. During that time after retirement she was able to enjoy Kayaking with her Husband Steve. Along with walks and long rides with their beloved Dog Gracie. She was also able to spend many days on adventures with her grandchildren.
Debi was predeceased by her husband Stephen S. Wersoski Jr., mother Betty (Cerasuolo) Ciardello, and father Ernest Ciardello of Haverhill, MA.
She is survived by her sister Sheila Landers and her Husband Mark of Haverhill, sister Marcy Boucher and her husband Peter of East Kingston, NH. She is also survived by her former husband Peter Hughes of Sarasota, FL. As well as her son Ryan Hughes of Manchester, NH and daughter Emily Barbosa and her fiancée Scott Marchand of Haverhill. Grandchildren Vincent Barbosa, Bella Hughes, Carlo Barbosa, Joseph Hughes, and Sophia Barbosa; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Services will begin at 6:00 PM. Private family interment will be held in Linwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844.
