Clifford T. Goddard

Clifford T. Goddard, 78, of Bradford, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 2 in the home he adored, surrounded by his cherished family. Born in Winchester, MA, on April 11, 1947, the son of Harold and Elizabeth Mary (Dix) Goddard.

Cliff graduated from Andover High School in 1965. He further pursued his education at the University of New Hampshire School of Business. He spent his years working as a Manufacturers Rep in the housewares industry. Upon retirement in 2012, Cliff serviced the North Andover community delivering Meals on Wheels.

Cliff married Mary (Randazzo) on May 21,1976 in Monroe, Michigan. They shared 49 years of marriage and raised their daughter Lindsay and son Brian. Cliff was a quiet, compassionate man. He was known for his wit and dry sense of humor. He was a dedicated husband and an incredibly proud father, always putting his family first. He had a love for music, golf and his yard where he always planted his favorite flowers every Memorial Day Weekend. Cliff never hesitated to lend a hand to friends and neighbors; mowing lawns, snow blowing or sitting and talking over a cup of coffee. Cliff also spent many years volunteering as a youth baseball coach for Haverhill PAL baseball and had a great impact on many teaching a game that he loved.

Cliff was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Elizabeth Mary (Dix) Goddard, his brothers Carleton Goddard and John Goddard. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughter Lindsay (husband Kenney) of North Andover, MA, son Brian (wife Kelly) of Norwalk, CT, adored grandchildren Brayden and Drew Goddard and two grand fur dogs Colbie and Piper.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be on Wednesday, July 9, in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Haverhill. In memory of Cliff, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or Sarah’s Place Adult Day Health Center at www.sarahsplace.org.
