Cathy Bahtsevanos

HAVERHILL - Cathy (Sahady) Bahtsevanos, 64, passed away January 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Manchester NH on July 28, 1957, to the late Nabie and Ruth (Solomon) Sahady. Cathy graduated from Memorial High School in 1976. She then went on to cosmetology school and started her career as a hair stylist where she met her husband Savas. From 1984 to 2011 the couple owned several successful restaurants in the Manchester area.   

Cathy enjoyed vacationing at Salisbury Beach, loved her trips to Aruba, watching sports, bingo, and the game of chance. What she loved most of all, was being with family. When Cathy loved and cared for you, it was unconditional, she was as loyal as they come. Her laugh and humor were infectious. She loved her cat Heath who she inherited from her son Alex, Saturday visits and coffee with her sister, Football (especially Tom Brady). She will be deeply missed by her family who loved her beyond words. Cathy was not just a loving wife, mother andsister she also was the kind of friend that anyone would be lucky to have.

Her family includes her beloved husband Savas Bahtsevanos, her sons Theodoros Bahtsevanos and his partner Kim Zappala, Alexandros Bahtsevanos, and her adopted son Christopher Russel. Her sisters Susan Querze, Norma O’Donnell and her husband Frank. Sister in-law Toula Papaefthemiou and her husband Vasilios and several nieces and nephews.
