BRADFORD - Carol A. (Cuozzo) Loring, 67, of Bradford, formerly of Lynn, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 2, 1953 in Lynn, the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Cuozzo. Carol was raised in Lynn and graduated from St. Mary’s High School and North Shore Community College in Beverly.
Carol was a registered nurse and later in her career focused on FDA clinical research. Her career took her to many parts of the world including Japan, Australia, Germany, Amsterdam, France, Italy, Canada, and across the United States. Her favorite place was home with her family.
She enjoyed traveling, visiting the White Mountains, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was particularly fond of Christmas, and incredibly generous to those she loved. She is already dearly missed.
Carol’s surviving family members included her loving husband Thomas; three sons Thomas Loring and wife Jennifer, John Loring and wife Kate and Robert Loring and wife Megan; three sisters Marie Nichol and husband Dave, Donna Daum and husband Charlie and Lois Boudrow and her late husband Bill; brother Bobby Cuozzo and wife Carolyn; brother in-law Joe Loring and wife Angela; nine grandchildren Thomas, Benjamin, Freya, Madeline, Grace, Seamus, William, Jack, and Samuel; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends including lifelong friends Gayle Brady and Maureen Kaeneman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Services will begin Monday morning in the funeral home at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Haverhill. Please note to wear face coverings and social distancing measures will be in place.
