HAVERHILL - Bryan Patrick Murphy born February 3, 1966, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024 after a brief illness, complicated by cancer.
Bryan was survived by his loving parents Paul Murphy, Sr. and Nora Rosaleen Murphy; his brothers Paul Murphy, Jr., CJ Murphy, Edward Murphy; his sisters Patricia Murphy and Catherine Brown; eight nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Bryan had a larger than life spirit that filled every room he entered. He was warm, compassionate, optimistic and full of passion and energy.
He loved soccer and lived for the sport growing up in South Florida along with loving the beach, fishing and boating. Bryan never missed a Celtics game or the opportunity to catch an Arsenal match. Music was a part of his soul and he adored dogs, especially Kelly.
Bryan graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in communications and worked as a communications executive in NYC and Boston.
His last few years were spent fighting cancer and caring for his family. Bryan cared deeply for his friends and was completely devoted to his family. He will be loved and missed every day of our lives.
Bryan’s family would like to thank the multiple myeloma team from Dana Farber for the love and care they gave Bryan and the ICU team at Lawrence General for their herculean efforts and exceptional support.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Mill Street, Haverhill. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill. Bryan thoroughly enjoyed nature and gardening.
