Braylin Castillo Martínez, de 20 años, falleció el 16 de agosto de 2025 en Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Su partida deja un profundo vacío en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron y amaron. Nacido el 25 de octubre de 2004 en Cotuí, República Dominicana, Braylin trajo alegría y calidez al mundo desde el principio. Su vida estuvo marcada por un profundo amor por su familia, su fe y los placeres sencillos que le brindaron felicidad. Braylin es recordado con cariño por su madre, Maribel Martínez, y su padre, Braulio Castillo. También le sobreviven sus hermanos mayores: José Luis Santana y su esposa Christine; Jorge Luis Santana y su esposa Jennifer Peña; y Bryan Castillo. Su familia extensa incluye muchas tías, tíos, primos, sobrinas y sobrinos que atesorarán sus recuerdos de él. Un joven de fe y compasión, Braylin encontró gran consuelo en asistir a la iglesia.

Su vida espiritual fue una parte importante de quién era. También le apasionaban los videojuegos, un pasatiempo que le brindaba alegría y le permitía conectar con los demás. Ya fuera pasando tiempo con su familia o disfrutando momentos con amigos, el carácter cariñoso de Braylin se reflejaba en todo lo que hacía. Aunque su tiempo con nosotros fue demasiado breve, su presencia dejó una huella imborrable en quienes lo rodeaban.

Braylin Castillo Martinez, 20, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Born on October 25, 2004, in Cotuí, Dominican Republic.

Braylin brought joy and warmth into the world from the very beginning. His life was marked by a deep love for his family, his faith, and the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. Braylin is lovingly remembered by his mother, Maribel Martinez, and his father, Braulio Castillo. He is also survived by his older brothers: Jose Luis Santana and his wife Christine; Jorge Luis Santana and his wife Jennifer Pena; and Bryan Castillo. His extended family includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish their memories of him. A young man of faith and compassion, Braylin found great comfort in attending church. His spiritual life was an important part of who he was. He also had a passion for video games—a pastime that brought him joy and connection with others. Whether spending time with family or enjoying moments with friends, Braylin’s caring nature shone through in all he did. Though his time with us was far too short, Braylin’s presence left a lasting impact on those around him.

May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his loss.
