Anne Marie (Keating) Bogart

Anne Marie (Keating) Bogart, 80, of West Newbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born in Lynn, MA on November 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor Keating. Anne was the beloved wife of the late Allen Bogart, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage until his passing in 2013.

Raised in Lynn, Anne was a proud 1962 graduate of Lynn English High School, where she met her lifelong partner and best friend, Allen. She went on to earn degrees from the University of Kentucky and Salem State University, reflecting her deep commitment to education and learning.

Anne began her professional life as a devoted teacher, specializing in Math and Biology. Her passion for helping others learn was evident to all who knew her. Later, she transitioned to a successful career in real estate, bringing her characteristic dedication, warmth, and professionalism to every client and colleague she encountered until her retirement.

A woman of remarkable creativity and sharp wit, Anne will be remembered for her love of the beach, her green thumb in the garden, her adventurous spirit in travel, and, most of all, her deep love for her family.

She is survived by her son Derek Bogart and his longtime partner Paula Rothwell of Merrimac, MA, and her cherished grandsons Zackary, Joseph, and Nickolas Bogart. She also leaves behind her daughter Rebecca Schroth of Pepperell, MA, and her beloved grandchildren Shawn Schroth and Taylor Boisvert, as well as great-grandchildren Cameron, Patrick, and Liam Boisvert.

Anne is also remembered fondly by her brothers David Keating of Huntsville, AL, and William Keating of Moultonborough, NH. She was predeceased by her sister, Beverly Gerrie. In addition, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will always hold her memory dear.

Anne's legacy is one of love, laughter, resilience, and generosity—a life fully lived and deeply cherished.
