It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Costas Fella, age 64. Andy passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

Andy was born on July 6, 1960, in Famagusta, Cyprus. In 1975, he immigrated to Haverhill with his parents, Costas and Maria Fella, and his brother, Michalis Fella, where he made his home and raised his family.

Andy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Despina Fella, who was the love of his life. He is also survived by his beloved children Kostas Fella and his wife, Sarah, Maria Denham and her husband Tyler and Katerina Fella-Jassel and her husband Richard. Andy was a proud and adoring ‘Pappou’ to his five grandchildren Elias, Juliette and Sophia Fella, and Andrew and Lukas Denham, who brought him endless joy

Andy was a man of unwavering integrity who instilled the value of hard work in his children. As an immigrant, he worked diligently for over 40 years at Market Basket while also applying his many skills as a mechanic, general contractor, and craftsman.

In his youth, Andy ran track as an active member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1979 and enjoyed attending reunions with classmates throughout the years. A true car enthusiast, he spent his free time restoring and working on classic cars-a passion that brought him joy until the very end.

Andy faced life with great resilience and courage, battling metastatic colon cancer and later glioblastoma. Despite his illness, his love for life and dedication to his family never wavered. He fought tirelessly to spend every moment he could with those he loved most.
