GROVELAND - William "Bill" C. Kennedy, 78, resident of Groveland and formerly of Lynn, MA, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 2, 2020.

He was born and raised in East Boston. He was a longtime employee of H.P. Hood Company in Charlestown. He moved to Lynn with his wife where they raised their family and upon retirement moved to Groveland.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, taking long rides with his wife. He also enjoyed memorable trips including Las Vegas, California, Hawaii and Florida. He was one of a kind and to know him was to love him.

Surviving family members include his beloved wife, Barbara Kennedy of Groveland, children Brian and his wife Melissa of Pembroke, MA, Shawn and his wife Kristina of Georgetown, and Heath and girlfriend Maria of Ipswich, MA; cherished grandchildren Justin, Joshua, Chase, Jacob, Mason and Allie; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Maureen (Diane) and his son Kevin.

Visiting hours will be Friday, January 10 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services held on Saturday in the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM.
