Wayne A. Curtis' Obituary
HAVERHILL: Wayne A. Curtis, 92, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 26, 2018. Born in Haverhill on November 1, 1925, he was the son of the late Charles P. and Charlotte P. (Foot) Curtis.
On March 23, 1943 Wayne enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, and served with the 9th Troop Carrier Squadron until his honorable discharge with the rank of Private First Class. His awards included the Asiatic-Pacific Service Ribbon.
Wayne worked at the former Western Electric, and retired as an Auditor following 27 years of faithful service. He was the brother of the late Charles E. Curtis.
