HAVERHILL - Wayne "Chip" Cochrane, 48, passed away enveloped in the love and care of his family and friends at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston on March 28, 2019, after a swift and cruel battle with angiosarcoma of the liver.

Wayne was known for his quick wit, encyclopedic knowledge of all things history, science, music, popular culture, Game of Thrones and Star Wars. He was a consummate conversationalist who was looked up to and admired by co-workers, friends and family alike.
Wayne met his bride, Kathy (Williams) Cochrane, in Salem, MA in 1996 and married in March 15, 2003. Together they built a lasting life of love, care, devotion, humor, respect and simple pleasures.
