Haverhill: Wanda Alvarez, 60, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2016 at Holy Family Hospital Merrimack Valley.

Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, on February 14, 1956, Wanda was the daughter of Ismael and Maria Escalera.

Besides her mother, Wanda is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Yamilka Rodriguez; son, Jesus Rios; granddaughter, Waldeliz Medero; siblings, Nicolas, Margarita, Aida, Sonia, Yolanda, Wilfredo, Mayra, Soralla and Mireya.

Funeral service under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill will be private.
