CHELMSFORD: Virginia H. "Ginny" Adams, 93, formerly of Groveland, passed away on January 6, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late William E. "Bill" Adams to whom she was married for 66 years.

Born in Haverhill on June 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Elizabeth M. (Pritchard) Adams.

Following her graduation from Haverhill High School, Class of 1945, Ginny continued her education graduating from Colby Junior College in New London, NH. She worked many years as a teller at the former Family Mutual Savings Bank, and then as a study hall teacher at Pentucket Regional Junior High School. Ginny was a member of the Groveland Congregational Church, and was an active Haverhill Rotary Ann of the Haverhill Rotarians. She spent countless hours hooking beautiful rugs, playing bridge, and socializing with her many friends.

Ginny is survived by her children, Todd Adams of Woodsville NH, and Paige O'Connell and her husband Jim of Haverhill. She was the mother of the late Sally Adams, and sister of the late Nancy Horton.
