Haverhill: Veronica E. "Vera" (Trefry) Reynolds, 95, of Haverhill and Venice, FL, died December 5, 2010 at Wingate at Haverhill. Mrs. Reynolds was the wife of the late Gordon W. Reynolds.

Born in Beverly, MA on November 13, 1915, Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Mabel M. (Saunders) Trefry. Mrs. Reynolds was one of fourteen children

Following her graduation from Beverly High School she continued her education receiving her degree from Eastern Nazarene College.

She had worked eighteen years at the former Western Electric. When her children were young she was a Brownie Scout Leader. By teaching others Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed sharing her interest in music and poetry. Vera was active in many churches in both Haverhill and Florida including the Church of The Nazarene and the Alliance Church.

She is survived by her sons, Charles W. Reynolds of Haverhill, Ronald E. Reynolds and his wife Sharon of Salem, NH; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Samuel Trefry, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral Thursday, December 9th, at 12:00 noon, at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Atkinson Cemetery will be private. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 10:00 to 12:00. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 395 Main Street.
