LIVERPOOL, PA: Thomas A. Segeberg Sr., 52, formerly of Haverhill died suddenly July 8th in the city on July 8th. He was the husband of Jacquelyn D. (Chilpyian) Segeberg.

Born in Haverhill November 4, 1955, Thomas was the son of the late Raymond D. and Shirley M. (Goodrich) Segeberg.

Following his graduation from Haverhill Trade School in 1973 he joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Taiwan during the Viet Nam War as an aircraft mechanic. Upon his discharge he enrolled at and graduated from East Coast Aero Tech as a licensed airplane, airframe mechanic. He had worked several years as a mechanic at Haverhill, Lawrence and Claremont Airports. Thomas worked as a piano stringer for Mason Hamlin before he became disabled. He had spent countless hours as an outreach volunteer at veteran's hospitals.

Beside his wife Thomas is survived by his son Thomas A. Segeberg, Jr.; daughter Jacquelyn Belmont; brothers Richard Segeberg and his wife Carrie of WA, Raymond Segeberg, Jr. of NH; sisters Brenda Melkonian and husband Randy of NH, Debbie Schock of FL, and Nancy Segeberg and his niece Alexis Yunggebaer with whom he resided in PA; granddaughter Maggie May and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service at Second Baptist Church on July 14th was private with arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
