PLAISTOW, NH - Thomas 'Rick' Marsters, 73, of Plaistow, NH passed away from complications of COVID on January 9, 2024 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Rick was born on June 14, 1950, in Lynn, MA, to Thomas Marsters, Sr. and Marjorie Olive Marsters, both who pre deceased him. He attended the Lynn public school system including Lynn Classical High School class of 1969. He dedicated 30 years of his career as a project craftsman at General Electric, where he made valuable contributions to the company. His skill and dedication were highly regarded by his colleagues. Rick particularly enjoyed a retirement position working surveillance at the Addison Gallery of American Art.
Rick was a kind and funny man, always ready to share a great story accompanied by lifelike and hysterical sound effects. Rick was inseparable from his wife Louise with whom he shared 28 years of marriage, the two enjoying outings and weekends away, dining out, their pets, and spending time with family and friends.
Rick had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, boating, snow skiing, motorcycles, and computers. He held an FCC license and spent many hours with his HAM radio equipment making contacts all around the world and even into space. Animals held a special place in Rick's heart, especially his beloved cocker spaniel, Tiffany.
Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Louise Meagher Marsters, his beloved uncle Don Olive and his wife Mary Ann, his brother in-law Kevin Meagher and his wife Meg, his sister in-law Anne Jones and her companion Butch Bisegna, his sister in-law Michelle Meagher and several nieces and nephews and extended family.
