HAVERHILL - Therese Audrey (David) Hewson, 62, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Hillside Rest Home, Amesbury, after a long illness.

She was born in Haverhill on July 2, 1956, daughter of the late Oliver David, Jr. and Eleanor Peters. She was raised in Haverhill and attended Haverhill Public Schools.

Terie was a fun loving, mischievous, strong woman with a tender heart who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, motorcycle riding, her sweet cat "Kitty" and laughing until there were tears streaming down her face.

Her various careers over her lifetime included working in retail, as cafeteria support staff in elementary schools and most recently as a CNA at Anna Jacques Hospital.

She is survived by her siblings Anne (David) Ray and her husband Jack and their children of Illinois, Susan David of MA and her children, Oliver (Skip) David and his children of MA, Robert David and his wife Lynn Lassor of MA and Nancy Sears-Russell and her husband Tom Russell and their children;several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Sister of the late Karen (David) Saylor.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, at 11:00 AM. Arrangements by Driscoll Funeral Home, Haverhill.
